About the Role
Optum, a global healthcare company, is seeking a highly skilled Business Risk Management Consultant to join their team. As a Fortune 5 business, Optum offers a dynamic and diverse work environment with opportunities for growth and development.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of financial and security audits, as well as commercial client assessments. They will work closely with the Associate Director of Data Security and Governance to support the development of the data security and governance framework.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage team intake and triage audit, assessment, and other requests to ensure timely resolution.
- Manage business requests related to compliance and risk management.
- Serve as a resource for OPI Valuestreams to ensure successful audit and assessment outcomes.
- Conduct semi-annual Client System Access audits for all PI Businesses.
- Protect assets by ensuring compliance with internal control procedures and regulations.
- Lead discussions with business partners to learn and document complex business processes.
- Prepare clear, accurate, and complete work papers in accordance with department quality standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related field.
- Previous experience in conducting compliance, financial, and/or operations audits.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
