Job Description

Buyer/Purchaser sought to join established team in Mayo. Key responsibilities include placing purchase orders, maintaining the purchase system, and liaising with suppliers. The ideal candidate has 2+ years experience in contracting buying, a professional qualification in purchasing/procurement, and experience in Sage purchasing software.

  • Place purchase orders according to company procedures

  • Maintain the purchase system and update relevant data

  • Liaise with suppliers on deliveries and order dates

  • Interact with project teams on purchasing and supplier queries

  • Prepare information for commercial reports

  • Support the finance department with supplier and cost reporting information

  • Represent the purchasing department at company or site meetings

  • Comply with the company's QEHS Management System requirements

    • Perform work according to process documents and procedures

    • Maintain document information and complete forms/records as required

    • Apply the company's QEHS policies in all aspects of work
