Buyer/Purchaser sought to join established team in Mayo. Key responsibilities include placing purchase orders, maintaining the purchase system, and liaising with suppliers. The ideal candidate has 2+ years experience in contracting buying, a professional qualification in purchasing/procurement, and experience in Sage purchasing software.
Place purchase orders according to company proceduresMaintain the purchase system and update relevant dataLiaise with suppliers on deliveries and order datesInteract with project teams on purchasing and supplier queriesPrepare information for commercial reportsSupport the finance department with supplier and cost reporting informationRepresent the purchasing department at company or site meetingsComply with the company's QEHS Management System requirements
