Global Category Leader/ Senior Buyer - Software SourcingHybrid with 3 to 4 days in officeCurrently searching for an IT Category Leader for Software to be part of their global IT category team. This person will work closely with cross-functional teams and key stakeholders to drive effective sourcing strategy to deliver the best outcome. Key responsibilities will include execution of the category management strategies, conducting commercial negotiations, and contract and supply risk management. The successful candidate will be required to have the necessary experience, category knowledge, skills, and capabilities to deliver on strategic objectives.Job ResponsibilitiesLead sourcing activities related to procurement of enterprise and engineering software licenses.Negotiate complex software agreements while ensuring compliance with corporate governance requirements.Support the global category manager for software in execution of the sourcing category strategy.Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders ensuring timely renewals of software agreements.Work with cross-functional organizations in the delivery of strategic sourcing requirements.Continuously monitor internal customers and supply markets for changes that may impact the sourcing strategy.Monitor financial performance of the Software category vs prior year and baseline basis.Manage supplier relationships to ensure continuity of supply and risk management.Requirements:Strong commercial acumen required for effective cost management.Expert negotiation skills.Expert understanding of End User License Agreements and SaaS agreements.Strong relationship and interpersonal skills to be applied in working with partners across the entire contract life cycle.Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced matrixed environment.Expert knowledge of the best sourcing practices and methodologies used for this category of IT supplier/partner.Project Management experience in complex multi-project and multi-geography environments.Proficiency in Microsoft Suite applications (including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word).Leadership experience.Bonus:Masters Degree in Business or equivalent.Supply Chain qualifications (e.g. CIPS, IIPMM). #J-18808-Ljbffr
