Senior Buyer responsible for obtaining materials and components, managing inventory, and ensuring smooth production flow.

Obtain materials and components, manage inventory, and ensure smooth production flow.

Responsibilities:

• Manage component supply and inventory levels for product lines.
• Plan and purchase material requirements to ensure smooth production flow.
• Expedite and prioritize critical inventory on receipt.
• Lead supply gap analysis and identify risks and mitigations.
• Evaluate and select suppliers based on quality system and capabilities.
• Develop and enhance relationships with strategic suppliers.
• Coordinate early supplier involvement in product development.
• Ensure confidentiality agreements and contracts are established with suppliers.
• Manage supplier implementation, including first articles and validations.

Requirements:

• Level 8 degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and manage long-term strategies.
• SAP experience, preferably S4 Hana.
• Advanced Excel skills and data analytics ability.
• Strong communication skills and strategic planning ability.
