Our client, a leading manufacturing facility in Tipperary, is seeking a Senior CAD Technician to join their team. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, this role will involve coordinating project activities, focusing on design requirements within various work packages. Key Responsibilities: Develop technical drawings, design schematics, and plans based on engineer or designer specifications. Assist in the design development process by converting concepts and sketches into precise technical drawings. Maintain and manage updates to the existing Design Libraries. Provide support for the supervision of contractors during project execution when necessary. Foster relationships with OEMs and equipment vendors to develop a pipeline for asset replacement and upgrades. Stay up to date with the latest design software and tools to ensure high-quality work. Adhere to all site safety policies, procedures, and local, statutory, and regulatory requirements. Qualifications & Experience: Proficiency in 2D Computer-Aided Design (AutoCAD). Experience with 3D Computer-Aided Design (AutoCAD, Solidworks, or similar software). Familiarity with Process Flow Diagrams (PFD) and Piping and Instrumentation Diagram (P&ID) design. A minimum of 5 years experience in a design and project management role. Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Competency with IT tools such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. Skills: Autocad Solidworks Project Management
