Job Title: Senior Cardiac Physiologist Location: Dublin Hours: 35 hours per week About the Opportunity: Are you an experienced and driven Cardiac Physiologist seeking a new challenge in a leading private hospital in Dublin? We are looking for a highly motivated individual with extensive expertise in Electrophysiology and Cath Lab procedures, who is ready to take on a Senior role. Key Responsibilities: Perform and interpret a range of diagnostic tests, including ECGs, stress tests, Holter monitoring and analysis, blood pressure monitoring and analysis, and event monitor analysis. Act as an independent operator in the Cath Lab, handling pacemaker and ICD implants, follow-ups, and running remote device clinics. Specialize in electrophysiology, pacing, or echocardiography, with the ability to perform complex procedures and contribute to service delivery in these areas. Support the Head of Department in implementing initiatives aimed at advancing the Cardiology Department's services, ensuring the department remains at the forefront of cardiac care. Lead and mentor junior Cardiac Physiologists, providing training and guidance to enhance their skills and ensuring adherence to best practices. Ensure accurate and timely record-keeping and reporting, maintaining a high standard of patient care. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver holistic care and optimize patient outcomes. Contribute to the development and review of departmental policies, protocols, and procedures to ensure compliance with the latest industry standards. Requirements: Membership with the Association of the Society of Cardiac Technicians. B.Sc. in Clinical Measurement Science or equivalent qualification. Postgraduate qualifications (e.g., BSE or BHRS) are highly desirable Minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience in cardiac physiology, with demonstrated ability to work independently in electrophysiology, pacing, or echocardiography. Proficiency in diagnostic procedures and specialist knowledge in core areas, including independent operation in the Cath Lab. Strong leadership skills and a commitment to continuous professional development. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
