Job Description
Senior Civil Engineer required for a leading Irish Engineering Consultancy in County Cork, with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality engineering services.
This consultancy provides engineering services through all stages of project delivery, from master-planning to contract administration and construction phases.
The successful candidate will lead project teams on various projects, including residential, commercial, and industrial developments.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and leading project teams on various projects
- Preparing and delivering technical reports
- Experience of reinforced concrete design, structural steel, timber, and masonry using the Eurocodes
- Experience of design of sustainable urban drainage systems and general building drainage systems
Requirements:
- Level 8 or Level 9 Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
- 7+ years experience working as a Civil Engineer in a consultancy, having achieved the position of Senior Civil Engineer
- Engineers Ireland membership with an ambition to achieve Chartered Engineers status
