Senior Civil Engineer required to work on major projects in Dublin office, delivering technical, managerial, and commercial aspects.
PUNCH Consulting Engineers, a progressive engineering consultancy, seeks a Senior Civil Engineer to join their team in Dublin.
Job Description:
- Chartered Engineer status with Engineers Ireland or ICE.
- Minimum 5 years experience in design office environment.
- Excellent understanding of engineering principles behind drainage, water, roads, and traffic system design.
- Familiarity with DMURS.
- Experience in compiling engineering planning documentation for major projects.
- Experience in producing Flood Risk Assessments.
- Experience in preparing Traffic & Transportation Assessments and Mobility Management Plans.
- Road Safety Audit experience beneficial.
- IT skills – including MS Word, Excel, basic AutoCAD skills + company design software packages.
- Ability to identify and apply scientific methods to solve engineering problems.
- Plan and manage human and physical resources for projects.
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
- Understanding of Irish regulatory and policy issues.
- Appreciation of Project Delivery Process, including GCCC Contracts.
- Knowledge of costing and options appraisal.
- Knowledge of project financing and fund management.
- Commitment to CPD and competence.
- Proactive approach with ability to adapt to changing scenarios.
