Job Description
As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest Health and Safety standards are met, while delivering high-quality work and implementing quality control procedures.
- Conduct work in a safe manner, ensuring all works are carried out to the highest Health and Safety standards.
- Implement quality control procedures and project-specific procedures to ensure work is carried out to the highest quality standards.
- Develop and maintain professional working relationships with work colleagues and Design Teams.
- Review detailed design, critique and communicate with designers to ensure adequate design is available for construction.
- Coordinate the development of design from designer's details to approved workshop drawings or technical information from subcontractors.
- Manage subcontractors/general workforce on site, planning works in an efficient manner to ensure program targets are achieved.
- Maintain site records and records of discussions/meetings with designers and subcontractors.
- Maximise profit through good self-management, accuracy in own work, elimination of re-work and contractual awareness.
- Follow direction as part of a team and attend meetings as required.

The successful candidate will have a strong desire to make progress backed by a strong level of construction knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a good understanding of Health, Safety and Environmental regulations.
The package includes a salary of €65k - €75k depending on experience, a work vehicle where applicable, a Pension Scheme, 21 annual days holidays and 9 public days, and an annual salary review.
