Job Description: Project manager for flood relief schemes and civil engineering projects in Ireland. Manage multidisciplinary design teams, project design requirements, and construction health and safety duties. Review and approve documents, designs, and project deliverables. Liaise with clients, local authorities, and design partners. Involved in business development, mentoring junior team members, and fostering a healthy company culture.
**Key Responsibilities:**
Project management of flood relief schemes and civil engineering projects in Ireland
Manage multidisciplinary design teams
Ensure project design requirements and construction health and safety duties are met
Review and approve documents, designs, and project deliverables
Liaise with clients, local authorities, and design partners
Involved in business development and bid/tender process
Mentor junior team members
Foster a healthy and positive company culture
**Essential Qualifications & Requirements:**
12-15 years' experience in a similar project management role
Chartered Engineer or equivalent professional title
Experience in dealing with clients and working with multi-disciplinary teams
Proficient in MS Excel and MS Project
Experienced user of GIS software and Autodesk CAD software
Familiarity with BIM standards such as ISO19650
