Job Description
Highly experienced Senior Civil Engineer sought to lead large commercial, residential, and industrial projects in the Dublin area.
Oradeo Recruitment is working with a top 5 main building contractor in Dublin to hire a Senior Civil Engineer for their team.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage planning and design stages of civil engineering projects
- Perform due diligence on new construction sites
- Oversee project stages from preliminary layouts to final engineering designs
- Design and recommend improvements to CAD drawings and schematics
- Prepare project budgets and work schedules
- Supervise junior engineers, construction managers, and contractors
- Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
- Inspect completed projects for industry code compliance
- Document processes and present project updates
Necessary skills and requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or equivalent
- Licensed and certified civil engineer
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a senior civil engineer on similar projects
- Proficiency in civil engineering project management software and CAD
- In-depth knowledge of civil engineering specifications, standards, and codes
- Great leadership, project management, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
