The Client and overview of the opportunity: My Client are on of the major names in Irish Housebuilding. They produce upwards of 2500no. units per year and have a good name in the job market as fair employers. I am looking for a Senior Civil Projects Engineer to join them to look after 3no. residential developments in North County Dublin. These Developments include apartments, houses and duplexes and are within the Fingal CC jurisdiction. You'll role will focus on the Civil Infrastructure aspects of the projects and you'll work closely with utilities providers, local authorities and their representatives, internal and external design teams and of course the Site Operations and Engineering teams. This is a recently-created role and the successful person will be an integral part of a very successful Irish business. Main Responsibilities Will Include: Checking plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations Problem solving Creating, managing, monitoring and interpreting the design documents Liaising with any consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project Supervision and monitoring of ground works and civil engineering contractors Quality management and BCAR co-ordination Requirements A minimum level 8 Degree qualified in Civil Engineering, Construction Management 5+ years of Civil Engineering or Senior Site Engineering for largescale, complex construction projects in Ireland Having a strong understanding of utlities companies and local authorities expectations and requirements when it comes to building Being a good communicator and having a passion for Engineering in general Excellent organisational, attention to detail and coordinating skills Full clean driving licence What's on offer?
