Job Description:

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with study personnel to design studies and write protocols for the conduct of each study.
  • Select statistical methods for data analysis, author protocols, and conduct analysis.
  • Maintain currency with statistical methodology and apply new methods to justify selected methods.
  • Perform peer-review of work products and influence team members regarding research methods.
  • Communicate study results via regulatory submissions, manuscripts, and oral presentations.
  • Understand disease states, competitive landscapes, and regulatory environment to enhance customer focus and collaboration.
  • Perform work in full compliance with assigned curriculum and follow applicable Corporate, Medical, and departmental policies.
  • Introduce and apply innovative methodology and tools to solve critical problems.
  • Lead projects independently and work effectively across functions.

Requirements:

  • M.S. or Ph.D. in Statistics or Biostatistics.
  • 5 years of experience.
  • Proficient in statistical programming languages/software such as SAS, R, Spotfire, and Win BUG.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills and teamwork/leadership skills.
  • Strong technical expertise and application with working knowledge of experimental design and statistical analysis.
  • Self-management skills with a focus on results for timely and accurate completion of competing deliverables.
  • Creativity and innovation.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving ability and critical thinking.
  • Business process expertise associated with critical activities.
