Client Our client is a global technology organisation.
Role: Your role as a member of the cloud team is to define cloud strategy, governance, and best practices to aid in the company's adoption of cloud platforms.
You will be working closely with engineers within IT as well as across the business to develop solutions and conduct research on new cloud offerings that best align to the needs of the business.
Responsibilities: Partner with the business to help plan and implement migrations to cloud platforms Develop tooling to automate the management of a large cloud ecosystem Design and deliver well-architected cloud solutions based on business requirements Strive to innovate and embrace a culture of continuous learning Partner with IT security to define and implement security best practices in the cloud Analyse cloud spend and recommend cost optimization opportunities Requirements5+ years' experience as a systems engineer, developer, or solutions architect2+ years' experience with a programming language (Python is what we use primarily)3+ years' experience with public cloud platforms (AWS)3+ years' experience creating cloud based architectural designs AWS certifications (desirable)2+ years' experience with infrastructure as code design (Cloud Formation, Terraform, etc)The Rewards: As a reward for your commitment to this role you will receive an excellent salary and a competitive benefits package.
