Senior Cloud Consultant, Azure & Microsoft 365: A highly skilled professional is sought to design, deploy, and manage cloud-based systems and services for clients.
Our client, a leading IT MSP in Dublin and Limerick, requires a Senior Microsoft Cloud Consultant to join their dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cloud technologies and architectures, with a proven track record of implementing cloud solutions in diverse environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and implementation of cloud solutions, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS offerings, across various cloud platforms (e.g. Azure, M365, and VMware).
- Collaborate with clients to understand their business objectives, technical requirements, and constraints, providing strategic cloud adoption and migration advice.
- Develop and document cloud architecture frameworks and best practices, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
- Conduct cloud readiness assessments and design tailored cloud migration strategies.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior consultants and other team members.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex cloud infrastructure issues, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies, industry trends, and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in pre-sales activities, including solution design, proposal development, and client presentations.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g. VMware VCP/VCAP/VCDX, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are highly desirable.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in IT, with at least 5 years focused on cloud computing and architecture.
- Proven experience with Azure cloud platform, including hands-on experience with cloud-native services.
- Strong understanding of networking, security, and identity management in cloud environments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage projects, delivering high-quality results on time and within budget.
