Senior Cloud Consultant..Permanent hybrid position with our Dublin and Limerick based client in the IT MSP sector.Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experiencedSenior Cloud Consultantto join their dynamic team. The ideal person will have a deep understanding of cloud technologies and architectures, and a proven track record of successfully implementing cloud solutions in diverse environments.As a Senior Cloud Consultant, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing cloud-based systems and services for their clients, ensuring they meet business requirements and adhere to best practices. Key Responsibilities: Lead the design and implementation of cloud solutions, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS offerings, across various cloud platforms (e.g. Azure, M365 and VMware). Collaborate with clients to understand their business objectives, technical requirements, and constraints, providing strategic cloud adoption and migration advice. Develop and document cloud architecture frameworks and best practices, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security. Conduct cloud readiness assessments and design tailored cloud migration strategies. Provide technical leadership and mentor-shipto junior consultants and other team members. Troubleshoot and resolve complex cloud infrastructure issues, ensuring high availability and performance. Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies, industry trends, and regulatory requirements. Assist in pre-sales activities, including solution design, proposal development, and client presentations. Qualifications & Experience Ideally you would have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g. VMware VCP/VCAP/VCDX, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are highly desirable. A minimum of 7 years of experience in IT, with at least 5 years focused on cloud computing and architecture. Proven experience with Azure cloud platform, including hands-on experience with cloud-native services. Strong understanding of networking, security, and identity management in cloud environments. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
