Senior Cloud Data Engineer – Data Movement (Long Term Contract, Dublin)
Global financial services & investment organization based in Dublin requires a Senior Cloud Data Engineer – Data Movement for a long-term contract. This is a hybrid position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strong Unix/Linux knowledge and experience in configuring and deploying applications in a public cloud.
- Infrastructure as Code using tools like Terraform.
- Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment tools such as GitHub, Artifactory, and Jenkins.
- Automation using Python, Groovy, Jenkins, Java, and/or shell scripting skills.
- Data replication tools like STRIIM, Golden Gate, HVR or similar replication technologies.
- Configuring alerts and monitors for a highly available platform.
- Automated processes for public cloud and on-premise environments.
- Analytical skills to resolve production issues and outages.
- On-call support, incident resolution, and release management practices.
Bonus Skills:
- Certification in public cloud (Azure or AWS).
Based in Ireland.
