Senior Project Engineer - Main Contractor - Dublin Office/Project Location: Dublin Employment Type: Permanent Work Location: Site Based Pay: €65K - €80K and negotiable dependent on experience Experience: 5+ years Visa: EU passport or Stamp 4 visa required Our client is a leading Irish Contractor with projects throughout the UK, Ireland, and Europe. They have successfully completed projects across a range of sectors including Data Centres, Hospitality, Commercial, Industrial, Healthcare, and Pharmaceutical. Responsibilities: Senior Project Engineer with a minimum of 5 years experience working with main contractors on large scale RC / structural projects. Ensure all technical information is available when required for the delivery of design and/or construction. Liaise with design team as necessary. Demonstrate detailed knowledge of setting out procedures and engineering principles. Co-ordinate, direct, and manage sub-contractors and suppliers as required by the project programme. Apply engineering principles in the preparation of calculations/drawings/sketches and resolution of engineering challenges within specific knowledge areas. Use instruments competently for purposes of setting out and gathering information. Consolidate a reputation for innovative engineering, technical expertise, and professionalism. Implement engineering systems, documentation, and controls by compliance with Health & Safety legislation, company, and industry standards. Have in-depth knowledge and understanding of various engineering disciplines including planning, QS, QA/QC, materials, plant and equipment, sub structure, superstructure, and temporary works. Promote forward thinking and strive for engineering excellence. Motivate, train, and retain the best engineering staff. Requirements: Degree in Engineering/Construction related discipline. 5+ years of civils engineering experience in a Senior Engineer role on large scale RC / Structural projects with main contractors.
