Job Description
Senior Project Engineer role with a leading Irish Contractor, responsible for large-scale RC/structural projects in the UK, Ireland, and Europe.
Our client is a renowned Irish Contractor with a strong presence in various sectors, including Data Centres, Hospitality, Commercial, Industrial, Healthcare, and Pharmaceutical.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure technical information is available for design and construction delivery.
- Liaise with design team as necessary.
- Demonstrate detailed knowledge of setting out procedures and engineering principles.
- Coordinate, direct, and manage sub-contractors and suppliers as required by the project programme.
- Apply engineering principles in the preparation of calculations/drawings/sketches and resolution of engineering challenges.
- Use instruments competently for purposes of setting out and gathering information.
- Implement engineering systems, documentation, and controls by compliance with Health & Safety legislation, company, and industry standards.
- Promote forward thinking and strive for engineering excellence.
- Motivate, train, and retain the best engineering staff.
Requirements:
- Degree in Engineering/Construction related discipline.
- 5+ years of civils engineering experience in a Senior Engineer role on large scale RC/structural projects with main contractors.
Package:
Salary €65k - €80k and negotiable dependent on experience.
