About the Role:
This leadership role involves identifying problem areas using data, proposing and implementing solutions to gain efficiencies, and developing strong working relationships with clients and partners.
- Identify problem areas using data and propose solutions to gain efficiencies.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with clients and partners in other Northern Trust departments.
- Work with management to ensure the Investor AML team meets required audit, risk, and compliance standards.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of AML regulation and best practice to promote enhancements to Northern Trust's AML processes and procedures.
- Analyze workload on team and coordinate others to meet deliverables.
- Construct and deliver MI for management or clients on an ad-hoc and scheduled basis.
- Engage with Audit, Risk, Control, or Compliance teams as required to ensure smooth running of reviews.
- Perform ad-hoc work as required by AML Management.
Key Qualifications:
- Self-motivating with a positive can-do attitude.
- Extensive knowledge of day-to-day AML operations and requirements.
- Knowledge of Transfer Agency operations and the wider funds administration business.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to coordinate and influence across departments and functions.
- Effective risk management.
- Previous experience in an AML or similar role.
- Detailed knowledge of the AML regulatory environment.
- General knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong analytical skills.
