RoleSenior Consultant – Business Risk ServicesWork location: DublinService line: AdvisoryEmployment type: PermanentThe Grant Thornton Business Risk Services (BRS) team is currently seeking a driven and self-motivated Senior Consultant, ideally with a professional services background. This candidate should be comfortable in delivering across product lines, specifically Internal Audit and Risk Consulting and across client sectors.The team delivers a variety of services to our clients’ who are based across a wide range of sectors including:Financial servicesTechnologyEnergyFood & BeveragesHealthcareManufacturing, Retail & DistributionConstructionOur services include:Internal Audit – Outsourced/ Co-sourcedRisk Consulting – ERM, GRC, TPRMThird party assurance - SOC 1, SOC 2, SOC 3IT Risk & Assurance – ITGC, BCM, CloudCandidates for this Senior Consultant role should be fully qualified with distinct and relevant experience of the best practice methodologies and standards underpinning internal audit and risk consulting delivery.This role provides strong candidates with the opportunity to become a key member of the team and play a part in the continued and successful growth of the business unit whilst working closely with colleagues throughout the firm in a rapidly growing area of the business.This role will be attractive to individuals who can rise to a challenge, who are adaptable and enjoy working in a dynamic environment. It offers highly attractive career development and progression opportunities.Main duties and responsibilitiesProviding internal audit, risk consulting advice to clientsPreparing detailed reports outlining risk and internal audit findings and recommendationsExecute audit procedures, including testing of controls and designs of different business functionsAssisting management in strategic business development activities, including identifying client needs, opportunities and working on proposals for new businessWorking on client site and/ or remotely as part of client project teamsReporting to on-site and off-site Grant Thornton managementHave excellent oral and written communication skillsStrong attention to detail and interpersonal skillsAbility to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environmentSelf-motivated with good initiativeGood level of IT literacy with a track record of using the full MS Office suiteExperience/ QualificationsQualified accountant or part-qualified with significant relevant experienceRelevant qualifications ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CISP, CISA, PRINCE 23+ years’ experience specifically in internal audit, risk in practice or industryIf you think you are this person and you want a career that works for you with a professional services organisation that is going places, then apply today. #J-18808-Ljbffr
