- The Scrum Master serves to facilitate scrum to the larger team by ensuring the scrum framework is followed.
- Key responsibilities include:
- Facilitating daily standups and iteration/sprint planning meetings.
- Aiding in estimation and sub-task creation.
- Participating in sprint reviews and retrospectives.
- Administering the scrum board and ensuring cards are up-to-date.
- Meeting individually with team members and stakeholders as needed.
- Ironing out team disagreements about process and work styles.
- Consulting with team members and internal stakeholders on how best to work with the scrum team.
- Regularly analyzing burndown charts and other portfolio planning tools.
