Senior Consultant in Real Estate and Infrastructure Team

Job Responsibilities

  • Prepare interim and annual financial statements for Property Funds, including consolidated financial statements for complex cross-border structures.
  • Ensure agreed client service levels and regulatory filing deadlines are met.
  • Oversee the preparation of regulatory returns, including compliance reports, Central Bank and CSO returns.
  • Develop an understanding of Fund Accounting requirements for Property Funds.
  • Liaise with new clients to determine fund structure and level of detail required to support striking of NAV.
  • Collect and analyze data to facilitate production of NAVs.
  • Organize payment of operating expenses.
  • Provide unrivalled client satisfaction and continuously improve the department's performance.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, investors, and associated parties on fund activities.
  • Ensure that operating arrangements are clearly established on inception of a fund.
  • Understand the purpose of and gain critical background knowledge of Funds assigned to the team.
  • Keep abreast of current activities in the REIF's market, as well as industry and regulatory developments.
  • Deal with client queries and liaise with internal departments as needed.
  • Contribute to the marketing and sales process to prospective clients.
  • Understand the structure of property transactions, including the process and approvals required.
  • Co-ordinate the approval process and collate documentation.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of Irish/UK GAPP and IFRS, as well as the Irish regulatory/tax regime.

Requirements

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and standards.
  • Working knowledge of Property Fund Administration.
  • Ability to demonstrate leadership and team-building qualities.
  • Strong knowledge of Excel and technical skills/systems knowledge.
  • Ability to work with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
