SENIOR CONSULTANT – TRANSFER AGENCY NEW BUSINESS TEAM – LIMERICK FTC – UNTIL END OF DECEMBER 2024 HYBRID WORKING – 3 DAYS PER WEEK ON SITE RATE – UP TO €46 PER HOUR (UMBRELLA / LTD CO.) My client’s Transfer Agency department provides a third party fund administration service to numerous fund management companies covering the full range of shareholder servicing functions including new business, dealing, registration, finance and investor services. THE ROLE Reporting to the Manager of the Transfer Agency New Business Team, you will be responsible for the implementation of new clients, launching of new funds for existing clients and completion of fund mergers and transitions in a timely and accurate manner. Ensure that all Transfer Agency, and related departments, and locations are fully engaged and understand the workings of the funds/clients/classes prior to go live date. WHY CHOOSE THIS ROLE? Working as part of the implementation team allows partners build knowledge and expertise on how a fund operates and the processes that are required to service clients and investors. It allows partners to build internal and external relationships, use their skills to problem solve and learn project management skills. PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES Work with clients to help them understand standard Transfer Agency Services and where deviations are required, work with the client and internal parties to address appropriately. Deliver new business to Transfer Agency in a controlled and efficient manner. Manage multiple projects end-to-end, from gathering requirements through to sign off. Review documentation such as prospectus, supplements, application forms, Service Level Agreements and provide relevant and proactive feedback to clients. Ensure prospectus information and any agreed procedures are correctly translated into the operating systems, always checking with relevant Subject Matter Experts and managers whether a given task can or should be supported. Ensure timely completion of all required developments, enhancements and/or set ups. Attend client meetings to provide input and assistance in ensuring completion of the Transfer Agency on-boarding process. Act as Client’s first point of contact from Transfer Agency and ensure client requirements are understood by the operational teams prior to launch. Maintain a good understanding of the Transfer Agency systems and participate in knowledge shares around existing and new functionality. Maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders in the business. Provide input to process improvements and efficiencies within the team. Identify, document and disseminate new procedures and controls. Able to serve as a key subject matter expert on the Transfer Agency product offering. QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS / EXPERIENCE Several years’ experience within Financial services is desirable. Knowledge and experience within the transfer agency business specifically with Transfer Agency operational experience being a large contributor. Prior client services and/or project management experience. Ability to work on own initiative within a team. Accuracy and attention to detail. Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills are required. Experience reviewing Legal and Regulatory documents. Initiative and enthusiasm to set and achieve goals. Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines. Be proactive, with a focused attitude towards work and ability to consistently meet deadlines whilst ensuring a high focus on accuracy. #J-18808-Ljbffr
