Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Contracts Manager to join our team in the western region. The role requires a highly skilled professional to drive performance and quality metrics and contribute to our growing organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of projects, drive performance, and develop plans for successful completion.
- Lead teams, identifying risks and constraints, and taking appropriate action to ensure continuous workflow.
- Plan, organize, and direct activities to ensure optimum delivery of projects.
- Regularly evaluate projects, manage client and design teams' expectations, and ensure compliance with company quality systems.
- Manage resources, workforce, subcontractors, equipment, and materials.
- Collaborate with subcontractors, engineers, architects, and technical assessors to ensure project completion in accordance with programmes and contracts.
Requirements
- 5+ years' experience in a Contracts Manager role in construction.
- Must have experience delivering large-scale construction projects.
- 3rd Level qualification in construction management/Civil Engineering.
- Proven track record of delivering construction projects within budget and to specification.
- Comprehensive knowledge of quality and safety management systems.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills.
- Self-motivated and driven.
- Good IT skills with ability to generate detailed site reports.
- Ability to drive projects and work within strict deadlines.
- Excellent understanding of Health & Safety requirements within Irish construction sites.
