Senior Contracts Manager for Residential Projects in Cork City and County
Our client is a leading developer of high-quality residential projects in Cork City and County. They require a Senior Contracts Manager to assist in the planning, delivery, and monitoring of projects that will deliver approximately 1000 homes in the next 2-3 years.
Main Responsibilities:
- Assist the commercial team in planning, tendering, and delivering developments
- Provide specialist technical leadership
- Plan and monitor project resourcing against budgets
- Implement best practices in project controls, performance management, and reporting
- Monitor subcontractor performance and determine labor requirements
- Liaise with local authorities and stakeholders
- Manage company Health & Safety files, Homebond applications, and other important documents
- Attend weekly/monthly site meetings
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor project progress
Ideal Candidate:
- 10-15 years of experience as a Senior Project Manager, Contracts Manager, or Construction Manager
- Experience in large-scale residential and commercial projects in Ireland or the UK
- Hold a third-level qualification in a Construction or Engineering discipline
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
- Experience liaising with local government, ESB, Irish Water, and planning authorities
- Proficient IT and report writing skills
