Oradeo Recruitment is seeking a Senior Contracts Manager to join a market-leading international main contractor in the Dublin/Leinster area.

The successful Senior Contracts Manager will lead and manage the delivery of multiple projects in the Dublin area, with opportunities for career development with a well-established organisation.

Responsibilities:

Propose design changes to improve savings, ease construction programme, enhance specification and quality on completion.
Prepare monthly commercial monitor reconciliation to highlight overspend or savings.
Ensure receipt of all information at Estimating/Surveying handover.
Develop Project Commercial Plans and ensure buy-in from the project team and management.
Provide advice and feedback to senior management as projects progress.
Plan and control the financial administration of construction work to obtain maximum cost effectiveness.
Understand and implement the company's Commercial Management Procedure.
Ensure effective procurement and supply chain management.
Be commercially aware, ensuring an efficient and effective change control system.
Develop recovery strategies where necessary.
Implement effective means of controlling contractual documentation on the project.
Manage all commercial/contractual aspects.
Participate in site project meetings and ensure commercial matters are discussed and problems investigated and resolved.
Function autonomously and jointly with senior management, making management decisions with minimal supervision.
Act as a liaison between the company and external Client executives to resolve issues or concerns.
Instruct, coach, and direct project staff with respect to construction, contractual, and regulatory requirements.
Manage day-to-day operational duties.
Demonstrate continuous efforts to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, and streamline work processes.
Develop and deliver progress reports, analyze results, and troubleshoot problem areas.
Build, grow, and develop business relationships for the project's success.

Requirements:

3rd level qualification in Construction Management/Engineering.
12+ years' experience with main contractors on large complex projects valued at €40+ million in a similar role.
Proven track record of seeing projects through to successful completion.
Strong customer focus skills, with the ability to build relationships and networks with strategic stakeholders.
Sound knowledge of current construction techniques, buildability, and value engineering concepts.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Financial, commercial, and business development acumen.
Analytical thinker with demonstrated problem-solving skills.
Ability to work well under pressure and within a strict deadline environment.
Technically competent with the ability to set and track project milestones and deliverables.
