Role: Senior Contracts Manager Client: Main Building Contractor Industry: Construction (Residential) Location: Cork Base: On Site Salary: €130-€150K (DOE) + Vehicle/Allowance + Pension + Bonus Reports To: Construction Director/MD Overview: A Main Contractor client of ours is seeking an experienced Senior Contracts Manager to join there team. The successful candidate will manage the residential sector of the company, ensuring project delivery to the highest standards, on time, and within budget. This is a dynamic role with significant responsibility, reporting to the Construction Director and MD. Career Progression:This role has the opportunity to progress to Director level within 6-9 months for the right candidate. Key Responsibilities: Lead contractual management for residential projects, overseeing procurement, tendering, and contract negotiations with subcontractors and suppliers. Drive the delivery of projects on time and within budget, ensuring compliance with quality standards and contract terms. Cultivate strong client relationships and manage expectations. Mitigate contractual risks and disputes. Provide regular updates on project performance and financials. Skills and Qualifications: 7+ years in contract management, with a focus on residential projects. Expertise in contract law, administration, and dispute resolution. Strong negotiation skills with a strategic approach to contract management. Leadership and excellent communication skills.
