Job Description
As a Process Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining processes that help manufacturers increase productivity. You will work closely with various departments and external entities to ensure the plant runs smoothly and efficiently while meeting quality and safety standards.
- Design and lead engineering studies and experiments
- Analyse problems and identify their impact
- Set design and process requirements
- Complete documentation in accordance with business standards
- Problem solving with conflicting design requirements, unsuitability of conventional materials, and coordination requirements
- Control and implement engineering changes
Requirements
- Level 7 NFQ qualification in Industry Automation, Mechatronics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
- 6+ years engineering or operational experience
- A strong communicator
Leadership and Team
This role reports to Myles Balfe, one of our Process Engineering Managers. You will join a team of 9 that includes process engineers and manufacturing technicians. Myles' leadership style focuses on collaboration, morale, and motivation.
