Senior Cost Manager role at Linesight: Lead cost management on high-profile projects, drive business strategy, and mentor teams to achieve excellence.
As a Senior Cost Manager at Linesight, you will work with experienced teams to deliver cost predictability and value for money on prestigious projects worldwide. You will gain industry experience, expand your skillset, and take real responsibility in your role. Our collaborative teams share comprehensive knowledge of international, regional, and local construction costs and benchmarks.
Key responsibilities:
- Participate in the tender/bid process, from initial documentation to analysis and reporting
- Manage the change management process, identifying, analyzing, approving, and implementing changes that affect project cost
- Analyze tenders/bids to ensure client value for money
- Assist in preparing and agreeing final accounts, including handling claims to ensure clients get best value from works undertaken
- Create estimates and cost plans for key client developments
- Oversee project spend by creating valuations and cost reports, and clearly communicate variations to your team
- Support nimble project management and clear decisions through excellent cost documentation and timely communication
- Foster top performance and growth for your employees via excellent mentorship and leadership
We are looking for a Senior Cost Manager with:
- Experience as a senior cost manager working for a consultant
- Experience in pre-contract cost management, budget control, and cost planning
- Knowledge of alternative construction materials
- Managed cost managers producing pre-contract cost estimates
- Chartered or on the path to complete it
- Degree or comparable experience in a project management or construction discipline
- Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing
