As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building strong relationships with customers, understanding their business needs, and delivering proactive customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their business needs and service requirements.
- Develop and implement solutions to meet customer needs, working independently and with team members to achieve these solutions.
- Act as the escalation point for customer issues, owning the problem and engaging relevant stakeholders to facilitate timely and effective solutions.
- Deliver proactive customer service by maintaining regular contact with customers through phone, service reviews, and face-to-face meetings.
- Identify and implement process improvements to deliver a cost-efficient customer service solution, meeting or exceeding customer Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Support new client implementations and additional product solutions.
- Anticipate and solve problems before they happen to reduce the need for service recovery.
- Grow revenue by increasing our share of wallet and promoting added-value services.
- Drive team integration and work with the leader to upskill the team.
We're looking for someone with:
- Knowledge of the shipping, supply chain, or logistics industry.
- A strong customer service background with proven success in their current role.
- A strong commercial awareness, able to secure sales through service while maintaining a cost-conscious mindset.
- A good process understanding and continuous improvement mindset, with strong analytical skills and digital proficiency.
- Excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.
- Motivation to achieve results, accustomed to high-performance KPIs.
- Ability to use rigorous logic to solve difficult problems with effective solutions.
- Leadership skills, with a proven track record of delivering results within a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A self-starter mindset, with a strong work ethic and ability to work under pressure.
