Job Description
Seeking a Senior Data Analyst to play a key role in the Data and Insights Department, working on energy modelling, policy evaluation, and behavioural economics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain databases, including fluency in using Excel, PowerPoint, and visualisation tools.
- Design and implement statistical models for accuracy and robustness using Python or similar programming languages.
- Work with data pipelines, including cloud storage, and query languages such as SQL or similar.
- Drive project deliverables, track progress, and ensure timely, high-quality results.
- Communicate complex technical information to non-technical audiences.
Requirements:
- Postgraduate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, Engineering, Economics, or Science.
- Minimum four years' experience in data analysis, programming, and project management.
- Fluency in Python, SQL, and Microsoft Excel, with experience in querying and manipulating large datasets.
- Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
Desirable Skills:
- Knowledge of the energy sector and experience with energy data.
- Experience with version control tools, cloud services, and data processing in Azure or similar.
- Strong understanding of public sector and industry environment and context.
