Senior Data Engineer, Artificial Intelligence Centre of Excellence, Data and Analytics
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to join our newly established AI Centre of Excellence, responsible for driving and supporting the development and implementation of AI solutions across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and efficient data pipelines and architecture to support AI and machine learning initiatives.
- Ensure data integrity, quality, and security across data processes and infrastructure, implementing best practices for data governance and compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Ensure the successful integration of diverse data sources, including structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data.
- Implement new tools, technologies, and methodologies to improve data processes and infrastructure.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance data quality, efficiency, and reliability.
Requirements:
- 4+ years' experience as Data Engineer or experience in financial services with relevant data engineering qualifications.
- Highly numerate and passionate about data and analytics with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Solid experience in designing and implementing large-scale data architectures and pipelines.
- Demonstrate strong data management, analytical, and reporting skills.
- Database experience preferably on Teradata or other Databases.
