Senior Data Engineer Opportunity
Seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer to join a team developing and implementing new technologies in a cloud-based environment, with a focus on AWS technologies and a potential progression to a technical lead role.
**Key Responsibilities:** • Design and build data pipelines, data warehouses, and data visualizations using AWS technologies such as Glue, Athena, Lambdas, and S3 • Develop and implement data lake solutions using Dremio, one of the first in Ireland to do so • Collaborate with a team to design and build solutions with a high degree of autonomy and ownership • Stay up-to-date with new technologies and adapt to changing data maturity requirements • Progress to a technical lead role as the organization evolves **Requirements:** • 6-9 years of experience in data engineering • Versatility and willingness to learn new technologies • Experience with AWS technologies, including Glue, Athena, Lambdas, and S3 • Strong skills in SQL, Python, and Java • Experience building data pipelines, databases, and architecture **Benefits:** • Competitive salary: €100,000-€120,000 • 12% bonus • Pension and healthcare benefits • Flexible working hours • Educational assistance • Bonus opportunities
