Senior Data Engineer Join one of worlds leading firms who is starting a new Data Engineering team in Dublin. The role will involve building Global Data services for one of the largest FMCG companies globally. The role focuses on building and maintaining data systems, ensuring data integrity, and supporting data-driven decision-making. The key skills are (Python/ Sql/ ETL/ Snowflake and GCP). Job Responsibilities: Develop and manage scalable data systems. Collaborate with team members to understand and meet data needs. Implement data transformations for efficient data handling. Ensure the reliability and performance of data systems. Conduct data profiling and harmonization. Stay current with technology trends to improve data solutions. Address issues and enhance data processes as required. Lead small to medium data projects. Adhere to organizational policies and standards. Perform additional tasks as assigned. Experience Required: Minimum of 5 years of experience in data engineering or a related field. Proficiency in SQL and Python for data operations. Knowledge of Snowflake or similar Data Cloud product is a must. Understanding of data architecture and best practices. Experience in creating ETL processes. Strong collaboration skills. Proactive approach to developing and implementing data solutions. Strategic mindset with a focus on achieving timely results. Desirable Skills: Bachelors/Master's degree in a relevant field. Experience with high-volume data environments. Familiarity with data tools like Airflow, Terraform, and Git. Knowledge of CI/CD and containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. Experience with cloud-based data solutions. Project management experience in data initiatives. Experience in mentoring junior team members. Educational Requirements: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. Working Hours & Benefits: Dublin Based client Competitive salary 80-90k plus bonus/ Shares/ Full Health and dental and much more 2 days on site / 3 days from home. 25 days leave Bonus and pension schemes.
