Job Description
Initial 3 years fixed term contract with hybrid working, 35-hour week, 26 days holidays, Pension.Responsibility for the detailed design of capital and operational projects for price control (refurbishment, replacement, maintenance, upgrades) of pipelines, above ground installations, CNG, Biomethane and compressors across the gas network.Manage the design element of projects (end to end) and outsourced engineering providers ensuring a high-quality design service is delivered within Design Delivery.Lead a team comprised of internal design engineers, seconded engineers and engineering service providers to deliver the design of transmission and distribution E C&I projects or programmes.Will work closely with Senior Design Engineer Mechanical to ensure the end-to-end design process is aligned to meet the overall project and programme timelines within Design DeliveryExperienceDegree with technical proficiency in electrical, control & instrumentation, cathodic protection, design, asset selection & specification.Competent in electrical Installation design & explosive atmospheres, ATEX equipment selection, installation, inspection & testing.
