Job Description
Senior Design Engineer sought for leading client's site in Dublin, requiring on-site work nationwide and occasional time in Dublin City Centre.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain comprehensive list of new and altered bus terminals
- Manage option development, feasibility assessment and choice of preferred options
- Maintain register of progress on work to define, agree, design and deliver new and altered bus terminals
- Manage work to deliver detailed design, powers, construction and commissioning of new and altered bus terminals
- Act as client for delivery project where terminal is of sufficient scale
- Support Authority in development of tender documents and tender evaluation of construction work
- Accept constructed facilities for operations on behalf of the Authority
- Liaise with other teams in the Authority and Transport Operators, Local Authorities and other stakeholders
Requirements:
- Ability to work on-site nationwide and in Dublin City Centre
- Strong management and reporting skills
- Excellent documentation skills
