As we enter an accelerated growth phase across a number of business sectors we are seeking professional & enthusiastic Engineers to meet the demand for our services.Minimum Qualifications:Holder of a Trade Qualification in a Mechanical or Electrical field - Level 6 Advanced Craft Certification or equivalent.Holding a trade background (such as Mechanical/controls/electrical) is an advantageDegree in Electrical Services engineering or Electrical Engineering with several years post-qualification design experienceTechnically excellent with in-depth knowledge of relevant standards and regulations including extensive knowledge of IS10101 and ET101:2008 National rules for Electrical InstallationsGood communication and report writing skills, have the initiative to work alone.Experience in leading design teams and a proven team player5+ years experienceAbility to deliver projects on time and within budgetWorking competency in design software: Dialux, Amtech, Revit, CADResponsibilities (not limited to):Deliver large complex and niche projects on time and to the highest technical standard along with management support.You will be assisting other engineers by helping and encouraging graduates and less experienced engineersPreparation of design and contract documentation and specificationsDesigning and reviewing design work of intermediate and junior engineersDesign of systems such as maximum demand calculations, cable sizing, lighting, emergency lighting, fire alarm systems, ICT systems, security systems and vertical transportCo-ordination of work with all members of design teams (architect, engineers of all disciplines, Q.S. etc.)Attend Weekly Design Team meetingsMark up of drawingsCompiling project & design studies reportsComplete additional training/education where neededWhat we're offering:Private healthcare fully subsidisedGreat work-life balanceRemote working and bike to work schemeProfessional subscription fees paid monthlySupport to ChartershipFast-moving and challenging roleGreat culture and company social clubClose working relationship with senior managers and directorsDirect exposure to clientsBe part of a CIBSE award winning engineering firmExcellent career progression in a company that supports your personal and professional development, through internal and external CPDChartership application supportCompetitive salary: dependent on experienceGenerous annual leaveEarly finish on a Friday #J-18808-Ljbffr
