eir evo talent are seeking applications for a Senior Desktop Support Engineer, this is a permanent position located in Dublin 8. The role is hybrid with 2 days per week onsite. Responsibilities You will work as part of the Service Delivery Team that are the front line for IT into our business. Providing technical on-site, face to face VIP IT support including installation, troubleshooting, problem resolution and maintenance. This includes supporting various types of Hardware Laptops/ Tablets/ Smartphones and printers Extensive knowledge of different types of Conference Room meeting equipment hardware and Software. Deliver desk-side support services to the customer in line with agreed project timescales and service levels. Deliver break fix services for laptops and desktops across the customer site portfolio. Provide standard and approved hardware and software (operating systems and standard office applications) support and maintenance on Desktop Devices, iPad and iPhone for their entire lifecycle (including the remote management of Desktop Devices using appropriate tools). Ensure that each Desktop Device is installed with the appropriate Desktop image. Provide onsite smart hands support for remote support teams Work with 3rd party contracting companies to test/replace/repair any issues related to equipment. Carry out periodic data centre visits and checks. Qualifications and Experience Relevant Third Level Degree or certification in IT or Engineering. Previous experience of working onsite providing VIP and Desktop Support. Knowledge of supporting all Tablet and smartphones. Knowledge of SCCM and ServiceNow ticket management system would be advantageous. Confident communicator Excellent customer service skills Good knowledge and experience in O365, Microsoft Desktop Software and Operating Systems. An understanding of network protocols, server hardware and configurations or other IT qualifications Full driving licence.
