Job Title:Senior Java Back-End Developer (L7) - Consultant (Fixed-Term) Experience Level:12+Years Job Type: Consultant (Fixed-Term) Duration: 8 to 24 months depending on the project Location: Dublin Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Java Back-End Developer (L7) for a fixed-term consultant role. The successful candidate will bring 12-15+ years of experience and expertise in Core Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, Kafka, and Kotlin to deliver robust back-end solutions. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain back-end services using Core Java and Spring Boot. Build and integrate REST APIs to support various applications. Implement and manage real-time data pipelines using Kafka. Leverage Kotlin for backend service development. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth and timely project execution. Analyze, troubleshoot, and optimize system performance. Required Skills: Proficiency in Core Java and Spring Boot framework. Hands-on experience with REST API development. Solid experience with Kafka for data streaming and messaging. Strong knowledge of Kotlin for backend services. Familiarity with microservices architecture and best practices. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and other containerization tools. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
