Vivid is working with an enterprise bank to source a developer to work alongside their software vendor to work on a two-pronged project. You will work closely with product owners and the head of Devops to bridge the gap in skillset between the vendor and the bank. We are looking for the first part of the project to be: Building pipelines in containerization using Docker and Openshift These pipelines with be new pipelines and existing ones, feeding into the PoC project Scripting will be done in Python Java based engineering team with maven plugins The second part of the project will be: Working on a GitLab PoC to go live in Q4 Looking to have this concept orchestrated from start to finish, in line with Cloudbees software governance. Potentially use this Gitlab project to perform Github actions. The client is completely on premise, not in the cloud. We are looking for people who can build, configure, deploy and administer CI/CD pipelines in Gitlab. This is a lead position in this area, so if you're interested, please be prepared to explain experience in this area. Experience required: 5+ years experience as a developer in java based applications Proven project experience at Enterprise level Knowledge of security configuration Worked in a complex governance industry, banking, aerospace, or similar.
