Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Senior DevSecOps Engineer to join our expanding team in Ireland. The successful candidate will have a strong background and proven track record in DevOps technologies and strong experience in Information Security. Key Responsibilities: Cloud Infrastructure & Automation: Design, build, and maintain scalable and secure cloud infrastructure, primarily onAWS, leveragingAnsibleandTerraformfor fullInfrastructure as Code (IaC)implementation. CI/CD Pipeline Development: Create, manage, and optimizeCI/CD pipelinesto support continuous integration and deployment, ensuring efficient and secure software releases. Security Integration in DevOps: Implement and automate security best practices throughout the development lifecycle, including automated security tests to ensure the codebase remains secure. Security Compliance & Standards: Lead the company's efforts to achieve and maintain compliance with security standards likeSOC-2andISO27001, incorporating these into daily operations and workflows. Threat Intelligence & Monitoring: Utilizethreat intelligencetools and automate monitoring to identify potential risks, respond to security threats proactively, and document response strategies. Incident Response: Own the incident response process, assessing threats, identifying vulnerabilities, and developing strategies to remediate risks, includingDDoS protectionandmulti-factor authentication(MFA) enforcement. Platform Evolution: Continuously assess the current platform, proposing and executing improvements to scale the infrastructure and elevate security across all layers. Security Documentation & Processes: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for security policies, procedures, threat assessments, and incident response protocols, ensuring a streamlined, secure development environment. Leadership & Ownership: Work autonomously to deliver impactful changes, taking full ownership of both the DevOps and security roadmap, while hitting the ground running with minimal supervision. Qualifications: 5+ yearsof experience in DevOps, with a strong focus on security practices. Deep expertise inAWSservices, including hands-on experience designing, deploying, and maintaining secure cloud infrastructures. Strong experience withAnsibleandTerraformfor infrastructure automation and configuration management. In-depth knowledge ofCI/CD pipelinesand the ability to build and secure pipelines for rapid software delivery. Solid understanding of security standards such asSOC-2andISO27001, with practical experience implementing and maintaining compliance. Proven experience withthreat intelligencetools,security automation, and managing incident response procedures. Demonstrated success in implementingDDoS protection, MFA, and other critical security measures. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and lead platform and security improvements. Nice-to-Have: Hands-on experience withMongoDBmanagement and optimization. Experience with security tools likeWAFs,SIEMsystems, andintrusion detection/prevention. Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Security+, or CISSP. Skills: DevOps InfoSec SOC2 compliance
