Zoetis, the leading animal health company, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Product Director, SAP GMS (Manufacturing). This role is pivotal to the success and growth of Zoetis. This position is integral in shaping the strategic direction of GMS ERP, ensuring they align with the company's overall business objectives and growth ambitions as well as running efficient day to day manufacturing operations. By acting as a bridge between executive stakeholders and the technical team, the Senior Product Leader ensures that the product strategy and roadmap are executed efficiently and effectively, delivering high-quality, compliant, and validated solutions that enhance our manufacturing business operations. Additionally, your leadership in managing the budget, fostering team development, and driving innovation within the manufacturing ERP space is crucial for maintaining financial control, operational efficiency, and a competitive edge in the market. This role not only optimizes current processes but also anticipates future needs, unlocking value and supporting Zoetis' mission to improve animal health and well-being. As a senior leader, it will be your role to build a world class team capable of delivering the global ambition for GMS. This includes the leadership of the manufacturing SAP team globally, staff development, and fostering a collaborative work environment of experts across your domain. Within this, you will be accountable for delivery of the overall staffing models to deliver against the overall souring model for Zoetis Tech and Digital to include both internal roles, use of external third-party consultants and management of third-party service providers as part of your extended team. The Senior Director, GMS ERP Product Management will be a key member of the ERP Leadership Team and help set direction for the use of ERP solutions to meet the company's growth ambitions. The role will be expected to significantly contribute to the strategic vision and operational excellence of our business. This entails not only leading the team but participating in high-level decision-making processes that will help shape the future of Zoetis. This will be done through collaboration across senior leaders in the business to ensure ERP initiatives are aligned with the company's broader goals and objectives. The role will be expected to champion cross function collaboration along with championing best practices promoting transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES Act as the primary liaison between ZTD and GMS executive leaders, ensuring alignment of manufacturing SAP initiatives with business objectives. Facilitate regular updates and strategic discussions with senior leadership, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement. Develop a comprehensive product strategy and roadmap for all manufacturing SAP products, aligning with Zoetis' overall business strategy and goals. Identify market trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to inform and shape the product vision. Ensure the roadmap includes the integration of specific SAP function modules such as SAP PP/PE (Production Planning & Execution), SAP QM (Quality Management), SAP TM (Transportation Management), SAP IBP (Integrated Business Planning), SAP eWM (Warehouse Management), SAP MM (Materials Management), and SAP S/4HANA as part of the NextGen ERP Program. Lead the execution of the manufacturing SAP strategy, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery of projects. Oversee the end-to-end project lifecycle, from requirements gathering to post-implementation support. Ensure solutions are compliant with regulatory requirements and validated according to industry standards. Ensure all financial controls and compliance measures are met within the SAP environment. Implement and manage DevOps practices to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the manufacturing SAP function. Ensure the stability, scalability, and security of the manufacturing SAP systems through continuous monitoring and improvement. Develop and manage the budget for the manufacturing SAP products, ensuring cost-effective utilization of resources. Continuously identify opportunity to reduce the cost of change in our environment. Track financial performance, analyze variances, and implement corrective actions as needed. Ensure financial controls are maintained and align with Zoetis' financial policies and procedures. Manage the day-to-day operations of the manufacturing SAP function, ensuring high performance and continuous improvement. Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of the manufacturing SAP operations. Lead, mentor, and develop a team of manufacturing SAP professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment. Conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and create individual development plans for team members. Demonstrate strong leadership qualities, setting a positive example for the team through ethical behavior, integrity, and a commitment to excellence. Foster a culture of collaboration, inclusivity, and respect within the team and across the organization. Ensure team members have the necessary skills, training, and resources to succeed in their roles. Design innovative solutions to address business needs and unlock value within Zoetis' manufacturing operations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure solutions are integrated, scalable, and aligned with business objectives. Leverage SAP's capabilities, including ancillary software components (eg, SCT), to enhance operational efficiency and cost savings. Serve as a key member of the ERP Leadership Team, contributing to the strategic direction and governance of ERP solutions at Zoetis. Help set the direction for the use of ERP solutions to meet the company's growth ambitions, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Indicate the formal education, certification or license required and/or preferred. Include the minimum number of years of relevant experience required for the position (where legally permissible). Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Master's degree preferred. Experience: Minimum of 15 years of experience in IT, with at least 5 years in a senior product management role focused on SAP Manufacturing systems implementation. Proven experience in managing executive stakeholders and leading cross-functional teams. Demonstrated success in developing and executing product strategies and roadmaps. Experience delivering compliant and validated solutions in regulated industries. Proven track record of managing and developing high-performing teams. TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS Technical Skills: Deep understanding of manufacturing SAP modules (SAP PP/PE, SAP QM, SAP WM, SAP PM, SAP IBP, and SAP GTS.) with 15 years of proven experience. Strong knowledge of Agile and DevOps practices and tools. Experience with budgeting and financial management for IT projects. Familiarity with regulatory compliance and financial controls in the SAP environment. Soft Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate at all levels of the organization. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively. PHYSICAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS Note the physical conditions in which work will be performed, if applicable to the position. Examples: Lifting, sitting, standing, walking, ability to travel, drive, unusual attendance requirements, weekend work or travel requirements, etc. This role will require occasional weekend working to meet customer needs for minimizing business impact of change.
