Job Overview:


KDP Ireland is seeking a dynamic, ambitious Senior Director to lead the Procurement Strategy and Capabilities function and manage a team of fourteen members that are based in the United States and Ireland. The successful candidate will drive long-term Procurement strategy development, annual business planning and Procurement performance management. The role will also be accountable for defining and implementing future digital strategy for Procurement that includes systems, processes, and technologies to optimize efficiency for Procurement and end users. Senior Director will spearhead strategic programs including enhancements to Strategic Category Management, Supplier Relationship Management, Supply Resiliency, Supplier Diversity, and ESG initiatives working in concert with Procurement Leadership and KDP stakeholders. The successful entrant will also deploy KDP's buy-sell sourcing model, harmonize and improve procure to pay processes, and provide governance and compliance monitoring over KDP's Purchasing and related policies. In addition to these capabilities, the individual will also help drive skills and competencies development across Procurement function.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Create and deliver a robust long-term Procurement strategy driven by business needs and incorporating modern technology, services, and tools to report performance and increase efficiencies within Procurement and the Sourcing process.
  • Drive organizational development within Procurement and deploy future state buy-sell model.
  • Develop and deploy Procurement's Technology Roadmap, collaborating with key stakeholders including IT, Procurement Leadership, and other key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Enable effective category strategy development by optimizing Supplier Relationship Management, Tail Spend Management, and Supply Resiliency programs.
  • Lead all aspects of Procurement operations, system controls, and compliance reporting services to better support end-users, and guide the team towards maintaining a high standard of service.
  • Lead initiatives to drive continuous improvement in process, skills and team engagement as a key member of KDP's Procurement leadership team.
  • Lead Procurement's Play to Win strategy and management system.
  • Oversee key ESG initiatives, including Supplier Diversity; Partner with the Sustainability and Procurement teams to deliver responsible sourcing and environmental initiatives.
  • Deploy KDP's buy-sell model to achieve optimal supply chain efficiencies.
  • Provide governance over KDP's Procure-to-Pay processes, systems, and policies while partnering with stakeholder functions to drive harmonization, compliance, and efficiencies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent) from an accredited university.
  • Minimum ten years procurement leadership experience with at least five years of experience managing high performing Procurement teams, preferably in CPG.
  • Deep understanding of Procurement function, stakeholder engagement and financial acumen.
  • Experience in Procurement strategies.
  • Demonstrated capability of building diverse, high performing, and engaged teams.
  • Ability to create robust operational and technological strategies for the Procurement function.
  • Deep understanding of the latest technologies available and proficiency in implementing.
  • Skillful with organizational change management.
  • Proficient in MS Office suite and experience working with ERP systems, SAP preferred.
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong internal and external relationships.
  • Ability to navigate and thrive in multinational and matrix environment.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively engage a wide range of internal and external stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

Travel:

  • As much as 15% of the time.
