Optum is a global healthcare company that delivers care and technology to help millions of people live healthier lives. We're seeking a Senior Director to lead our Payment Integrity Data Intelligence team in Dublin or Letterkenny, with a hybrid work model.
As a Senior Director, you will be responsible for setting and implementing the Payment Integrity Data Intelligence strategy, managing capacity and demand, and leading a team of talented professionals. You will work closely with business leaders and stakeholders to ensure alignment with strategic objectives and organizational priorities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Defining and implementing capacity and budget planning strategies
- Maintaining strategic relationships with business leaders and stakeholders
- Providing insights and recommendations on departmental resource allocation
- Building consensus on implementing processes and practices
- Assisting in prioritization of investment and providing recommendations
We're looking for a seasoned leader with:
- Proven experience building and leading high-performing teams
- Extensive experience managing headcount and budget for a moderately sized organization
- Undergraduate degree in a relevant healthcare or quantitative discipline
- Experience working in a matrixed environment and demonstrated stakeholder management and communication skills
Preferred qualifications include:
- Master's degree in business, finance, health care administration, statistics, pharmacy, or another related field
- Experience with AI/ML solutions
- Excellent time management, organizational, and prioritization skills
