AECOM continues to expand their successful and established Infrastructure Development team in Ireland and requires a Senior Drainage Engineer to join the Dublin, Cork OR Galway office.
Our established Development Infrastructure team currently has a vacancy for a Senior Drainage Engineer with experience in development work.
The opportunity is based in AECOM's Dublin, Cork or Galway office.
The team has an established track record of successfully delivering development infrastructure schemes both locally and across Ireland and the U.
K.
Our wide range of clients includes developers, retailers, landowners, housebuilders, blue-chip companies, and Universities.
Our current portfolio of works comprises a diverse mix of local and national development and civil infrastructure projects at all stages, from Feasibility through to Detailed Design and Construction.
Each team member has a development plan to provide a clear pathway to personal development and career progression.
Our clients are many and varied from both the private and public sector.
Current & Upcoming Projects:

ESB HV Cable Replacement (civil works)
Parkland and public realm projects for Local Authorities
Residential Developments for the Land Development Agency (LDA)
Large scale infrastructure projects such as EV bus depots for the National Transport Authority (NTA)

Here's what you'll do:

Deliver: You will be part of a team that delivers high quality civil engineering support and services to all project stages, from feasibility through to Detailed Design and Construction.
Oversee: You will take ownership of the tasks that are required for each of the project stages, working with other design team members while providing guidance to entry-level engineers and coordinating with the relevant multi-disciplinary teams.
Provide Expertise: Offer technical knowledge and expertise on all aspects of multi-disciplinary projects, particularly drainage design, from conceptual phases to implementation.
Ensure Quality: Strive for excellence in all projects, following the AECOM QA/QC procedures and work through the complexities of projects by providing early warning on risks associated with programme and budget.
Collaborate: Work with both internal and external multi-disciplinary engineers and stakeholders to successfully deliver integrated designs.

Qualifications
Ready to push the limits of what's possible?
Here's what we're looking for:

A Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
Relevant work experience in the design and delivery of civil infrastructure from inception to handover including experience in the design of SUDs, water main distribution pipelines, storm and foul gravity collection networks, surface water catchment analysis and flood risk assessments.
Experienced in using relevant industry-standard software including Microdrainage or Info Drainage, and Auto CAD.
Experience of working in a multidisciplinary design team, and capable of effectively liaising with architects, planning consultants, and external consultants.
Experienced in undertaking site inspections, test witnessing and reporting on same, and answering technical RFIs during construction.
Experience in the supervision of Junior Engineers and Technicians.
