Job Description
Electrical Engineer with strong technical ability in all aspects of Electrical Engineering and Construction Services.
This role requires a degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent and a minimum of 8-10 years of experience in the engineering and construction industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supports Project Engineering teams and oversees electrical engineering development.
- Develops and agrees on design processes and design deliverables.
- Leads Pre-Construction Engineering activities and the production of information.
- Assists in the continual improvement of the QA System and executes project reviews.
- Provides technical support to various teams including estimating, procurement, commercial, marketing, and project bid teams.
- Develops commissioning strategy and supports commissioning and troubleshooting activities.
- Reviews Technical Submittals Library and updates information to the latest developments.
- Liaises with vendors, suppliers, sub-contractors, specialist designers, manufacturers, etc. regarding specification, validation, carbon footprint, and value engineering of products and equipment.
- Processes internal procurement from equipment enquiries through requisitioning and monitoring manufacture through to delivery to site.
Requirements:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Strong technical ability in all aspects of Electrical Engineering and Construction Services.
- Experience in software such as Amtech, Dialux, Adobe Pro, Bluebeam, Navisworks, BIM360, BIMCollab, and MS Office Suite.
- Professionally Registered or working toward Professional Registration.
- Good communicator with the ability to work well with others in a multifunctional team.
