About the job: As one of our Senior Electrical Engineers, you will lead projects in EMEA for companies that lead in technology-driven solutions. It will be second nature for you to manage project delivery from conception all the way through to completion/client handover. You will confidently manage and grow relations with accounts. Your expertise will expand beyond just the electrical field, also including BMS/EPMS, Security, and CSA. You will excel at project design planning to meet client expectations. Additionally, you will manage a team of support engineers, mentoring them in their professional development and ensuring all deliverables from the team align with our quality assurance systems prior to handover.About you:Degree or Diploma in Building Services or Electrical EngineeringMinimum 6+ years of electrical building services design experienceProficient in the use of Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Dialux, Amtech; REVIT is an advantageExpert knowledge and experience in the following Electrical design areas: Lighting & Emergency Lighting, Small Power and Data, Fire alarms, CCTV & Intruder Alarms, MV/LV Power Distribution, Containment and BMSConfident in client meetings, skillfully communicating on behalf of the design teamAbility to lead projects, taking a brief from the project lead, delivering and controlling required tasksMulti-tasker, with the ability to prioritize and delegate as appropriate to meet project deadlinesExcellent report writing, explaining complex engineering issues in simple and clear languageKnowledgeable in Irish and European Standards (training can be provided)Desire to grow with the organization, undertaking training and mentorship to progress into a lead role in our Global Tech teamResponsibilities:Lead the Electrical Services design for a range of projectsDesign and specification of electrical services for various types of buildings and sectorsProduction of detailed schematicsDevelop the electrical design standards within the organizationMentoring of junior engineering staffDevelop detailed tender packages and monitor installation/quality on site until project completionTender report/analysis/recommendationsDevelop project scope with design team/clientProduce budgets and reports for clientsTake lead on projects with minimal input from the management teamDeliver high-tech smart office developments for some of the largest tech firmsBenefits:Flexible working times20 Days holidays up to 25 daysPension SchemeTravel tax scheme or bike-to-work schemeRegular training/mentoring/further college supportSupport for ChartershipA Professional Subscription Fee paid by the companyHeavily subsidized social committee (5 a side, golf society, climbing club, and regular social events)At Ethos, we offer free Fridays every second Friday as a perk!
