Senior Electrical Engineer required for a leading multi-disciplined engineering consultancy providing design, fire safety and technical services to various sectors.
Our client is a leading multi-disciplined engineering consultancy providing design, fire safety and technical services to a range of sectors including Data Centre, Pharmaceutical, Retail, Residential, Government & Commercial build.
Key responsibilities include overseeing the entire Electrical Services engineering process, supervising intermediate engineering design staff, managing project workflow programs, maintaining records and files, managing project stakeholders, and providing engineering support to Resident Engineers and senior design staff.
Requirements include a degree in Building Services Engineering or Electrical Engineering or equivalent, minimum of 10-15 years relevant experience, excellent knowledge of industry standards and regulations, good IT skills, and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Package includes salary €70k - €89k depending on experience, full time Permanent Position, hybrid Working options, flexible working hours, 21 days annual leave per annum, company-provided smartphone and laptop, opportunities for professional development and training, and membership of relevant industry institutes/professional bodies.
Job Description
- Oversee the entire Electrical Services engineering process.
- Supervise intermediate engineering design staff.
- Manage project workflow programs to ensure timely project delivery.
- Maintain records and files of all completed engineering work.
- Manage project stakeholders.
- Design review and approval of all designs.
- Review and approval of all on-site installation.
- Attendance and recording of any project-specific/design meetings.
- Management of on-site contractors.
- Completion of Site surveys and reports.
- Provide engineering support to Resident Engineers and senior design staff.
- Support ad-hoc activities assigned by senior staff from time to time.
Requirements
- Degree in Building Services Engineering or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum of 10-15 years relevant experience.
- Excellent knowledge of all current industry standards and regulations.
- Good IT skills and familiarity with industry-specific software (Auto CAD/REVIT etc.).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- An eye for detail.
- Strong communication skills.
- Excellent people and time management skills.
- The ability to work well as a team and on your own.
