Job Description
Senior Electrical Engineer required for a challenging role in Suir Engineering Ltd.
About the Role:
- Development and review of schematic drawings and single line diagrams
- Development of HV system studies, including protection coordination, arc flash, voltage regulation, load flow and fault level reports
- Pre-commissioning and commissioning of GIS and AIS Substations
- Detailed design of High & Low voltage equipment and control and protection systems
- Specification, selection and procurement of equipment
- Preparation and interpretation of technical specifications and enquiry documentation
- Assistance with technical and contract documentation
- Monitoring progress and issuing progress reports
- Preparing method statements and risk assessments
- Liaising with clients, design team and contractors on technical issues
- Management of all technical queries on site
- Planning, scheduling, conducting and coordinating engineering work and projects

Requirements:
- Third level degree in Electrical Engineering
- 5+ years of experience working as an Electrical Project Engineer in the HV Energy and Renewable Sector
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritise workload according to deadlines and attention to detail
- Ability to influence colleagues at all levels
